Food Drive
Comedy Night was held at Carolina Lakes Clubhouse on February 14, 2026. The show was sold out! We were able to donate $8,000 total to the 5N2 Pantry and Harnett County Buddy Backpack.
A special thank you to our friend Paul Wilson, former District Governor Myra McCloud, and Terry Thompson from the Vision Resource Center for their informative presentation on Meta Glasses.
We also extend our gratitude to Scott Stephenson, Zone Chair 3, for his presentation on the Boys & Girls Club of NC and for presenting the Chevron Awards.
The WHLC hosted a successful Comedy Night in February, made possible by the incredible support of our community. Thanks to this fundraiser, we were proud to donate $5,000 to Buddy Backpack on March 27, 2026.
We’re grateful for the community’s support in helping us make this contribution possible!
Our annual Food Drive for the Five N Two Pantry was held on April 4, 2026, at Carolina Lakes Marina. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected an incredible 846 pounds of food and $905 in donations!
We sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed and helped make this event a success.
April is
National Organ and Tissue Awareness Month
One of our very own Lion, Brian Hinsley, is a liver transplant recipient. During our April meeting he shared his story and how a liver transplant saved his life. His story is an inspiration to us and we are so honored to have him on our team!
Toys for Tots Award
The WH Lions Club was honored to receive the Platinum Sponsorship in recognition of our support of the 2025 Toys for Tots program. The award was presented by the Crossed Rifles Detachment #1346 Marine Corps League on March 26, 2026.
