Baby Drive for Young Mothers

The Boys & Girls Home at Lake Waccamaw is a facility that helps teenagers that have been physically, sexually, and/or emotional abused. Our club does a baby drive every October at the Carolina Lakes Marina to collect donations for these young mothers and their children.

Bicycle Man Charity

The Bicycle Man is a Fayetteville-based charity dedicated to providing bicycles for children who cannot afford them. The goal of the charity is to give away approximately 1,000 bikes each year around Christmas. We collect bikes annually and set-up a bike drive at the Carolina Lake's Marina. We deliver the bikes to the Bicycle Man Charity where they are fixed up and ready to give away. The Lion's volunteer their time at this charity.

Blood Drive for Red Cross

Twice a year, on Martin Luther King Day (January) and Columbus Day (October), the WH Lions Club supports the American Red Cross by sponsoring a blood drive in Carolina Lakes Community. We have always exceeded our goals thanks to the community and the support of the lions.
