Flags

Would you like to have a flag displayed at our home in Carolina Lakes?

The Western Harnett Lions Club is offering a Service Project for the Carolina Lakes Community. We will be displaying an American flag in front of your property near your mailbox. The flag is 3ft x 5ft in size and will be mounted on an 8-9 foot pole. We will bury a short section of 1.5-inch PVC pipe and place the flag in the pipe.

We will display the flag 11 times throughout the year from sunup to sundown.

The cost for one flag to be displayed is $33 per year. For each holiday after July 4th, the cost will be minus $3 per holiday passed.

Besides being a great patriotic service project, the funds raised are used locally to pay for glasses, vision screenings, optometrist visits and vision assistance for Harnett County residents who could not otherwise afford these items. In addition, our club sponsors Camp Dogwood, the NC Lions Camp for the blind and a 2 day Visually Impaired Fishing Tournament each year on the Outer Banks.
